Thin Places I, II, & III cover the island of Ireland from North to South, reflecting ancient sites where the energies are strong and that otherworldly feeling can be accessed. Portals to another dimension. Thin places aren’t perceived just with our senses, to experience them goes beyond those limits. In Irish Celtic lore, “thin places” are those localities where the veil between this world and the otherworld is porous, where there is mystery in the landscape. The earth takes on the tone of the sacred amongst a people whose connection to place has remained unbroken through the ages.

In archaeology and anthropology, a manuport is a natural object which has been moved from its original context by human agency but otherwise remains unmodified. The word derives from the Latin words manus, meaning “hand” and portare, meaning “to carry”.
